HALSTATT, AUSTRIA

AUSTRIA

We visited Austria in the autumn when the air was crisp and the trees were shades of warm orange, red, and yellows. The crowds were low and the vibe in the air was easy going.

TRAVEL TO & AROUND

Planning your trip to Austria is going to be easy.  First pick your home base and go from there.

Vienna, Salzburg, and don't forget Germany are great places to start searching for fares.

Public transit is your best friend. Trains, buses and ferry boats will get you any place you need to go. Renting a car or hiring private transfers are also great options to see the countryside.

We used a private transfer from the Cesky Krumlov, Czech Republic to Salzburg. It was a nice, cheap way to get into the country from our last stop. The driver was very informative and the scenery was amazing. We used the company CK Shuttle and had a nice van with only 4 people.

If you have any questions about this process and the ride, feel free to send me an email and I'll fill you in.
