Dachstein is a cable car that takes you up the mountain with a few stops for the Dachstein Ice cave, Dachstein Mammut Cave, Schönbergalm Nature Park, 5 fingers viewing platform and much more.
5 Fingers Lookout has the best views of the Salzkammergut region. This was by far the most amazing view I've seen to date. Worth the hike.
Obertraun Dachsteinhöhlen
Obertraun Dachsteinhohlen is the station we used to get back to Hallstatt from Obertraun. There are also buses that run back and forth.
